1: Federico Vannucchi: I believe that as a Ritchie's acoustic fan it is impossible to not remain enchanted by the wonderful songs of Blackmore's Night.

Massimo Paggi: In fact the issue of "Shadow Of the Moon" affected us , and for this we started this hard but fantastic adventure.


2: Federico Vannucchi: For me Ritchie has been a spiritual father. I started playing the guitar studying his masterpieces, and still today I play them. I consider him a valid composer inasmuch as all that he does, like for magic, centers the emotions of people.

What are the strongpoints of Midnight?

3: Massimo Paggi: One of the Midnight's strongpoints is the passion for this kind of music that induces us to embody a sort of alternative to the Blackmore's Night, unlike as a simple tribute band that exist all over the world.
Federico Vannucchi: A particular thing of the Midnight band is having studied thoroughly the shows and the sounds that have made famous Blackmore's Night so unique in their genre.
Laura Di Benedetto: Personally i believe that the most quality of the Midnight Band is the big energy they have, it was the first thing I have felt since our first concert. A strong energy that borns from the heart of the band and arrives straight to the people.It's like a fire that burns,full of emotions,strenght,spontaneity,passion... not to mention the big fun we have toghether. They are exceptional minstrels, being on stage and share this music with them is a very singular experience. 
"Past time with good company" are the best words to describe them!

How far can you go with your new line-up?

4: Federico Vannucchi: In the last period there have been sundry and important changes on the Midnight's line-up. The most important, without any doubt has been the arrival of "Lady Violet Moon" Laura. You know the film "Stardust"? It's like seing a falling star, wishing for something and catching it!

It happened all of a sudden, after a long period of stop ,regard composing, with our ex-singer Silvia. And now, over the Midnight a new star is shining full of energy and passion as regards the mysterious fascinating world of fantasy and last but not least,the love for the Blackmore's Night. In a few words a star able to exite will help us for this "Route 66" of the Midnight.

Massimo Paggi: It would be fantastic to have the possibility of playing in Norway,maybe at the Blackmoon Festival that You (Ole Svela) have organized this year.

How do you describe the voice of Candice Night?
5:Laura Di Benedetto: The voice and personality of Candice night is truly unique! How many good singers are in the world? A lot...
But how many of them have an identity? Sometimes if you listen to the radio seem nearly all identical.
You may instead hear a song,to you unknown, and exclaim without any doubt: Hey that's Candice Night! 
In addition to that, in recent years she has reached a really outstanding level, but the quality that stands out is the ability to excite even with a simple and sweet sigh.

Why have Midnight become so popular and played so many shows?

6: Federico Vannucchi: There's not a precise reason for which our concerts are so requested. Probably it's the positive energy that people feel during our shows that increases the assent,show after show,of people coming. We always try to make our gigs more particular possible also when we are in unusual locations.

Do you feel that the interest for your music is growing in Italy?


7: Massimo Paggi: Our country is always near to the ancientness. There are many storical evocations, medieval and celtic that every year are organized in Italy. The increasing passion in this faiyre world has surely helped us, giving us the possibility of make many persons know us year after year.

Are you making songs of your own?

8: Federico Vannuccchi: Surely yes! Exactly In this period we are working on many ideas that we had closed in the closet, for the making of our debut album that we hope to realize in less time possible so that more people start knowing us and to make known our original sound.

Do you play anything else than Blackmore`s Night in your live sets?
9: Federico Vannucchi: it is from more than one year that in our set-list there are many Midnight's original songs like"Witch of the Mirrors", "The King and the Dwarf", "Hand in Hand", " May Fly", and the Midnight's most famous song "Willow Trees". Massimo Paggi: It's fantastic how the public started to love our songs and it's wonderful to position them near our "spiritual fathers".

What is your goal for the rest of 2009 and 2010?

10: Federico Vannucchi: with Lady Laura's arrival we hope to bring our music everywhere, hoping to arrive finally to the realization of our studio album.
